As a child, Dolores Huerta loved to sing. As an adult, she continued to raise her voice—speaking, chanting, and singing—for the rights of farm workers across America, empowering those workers to raise their own voices. She became one of the most influential labor and civil rights activists of the 20^th century, earning her the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
